GeekFest is upon us again, fraggers! Dust off your skillz and plan to attend the first GF event of 2010. Ghengis's employer is graciously allowing us to use his facility again this year, so we're hoping to make this event as big a success as the last one. If you are unfamilar with the venue, the building entrance is on the side facing the USPostal service sorting center, with parking allowable anywhere in front of the door (don't park on the USPostal service side of the lot, if possible).
Make plans today to attend, as the event is only a month away! To attend, pre-register your commitment by posting in this topic thread. This will help us to get an accurate head count. If you something happens and you must cancel your registration, post again in this topic thread to informs you must cancel. Regisration ends Friday, March 19, 2010 at noon. Any registration after that will not be honored, to allow us ample time for purchasing/renting supplies for everyone.
We will start at about 3:00 PM. Ghengis will need a few volunteers to arrive early to help with room setup and wiring. Mention that you plan to arrive an hour early (2:00 PM), if you want to volunteer. Dinner time is TBD via mob-rule as always, but I'd estimate that the wailing hordes will lay seige to the grill near 7:00 PM.
As usual, provided ammenities include a table, chair, power strip, network connection, and restroom facilities. You are expected to bring your own computer, input devices, legally licensed software titles, and monitor (anything over 40" needs pre-approval from Ghengis... otherwise we run out of table room for everyone).
